For the 2025 celebration of International Women’s Day, I was invited by XRAY FM to create an hour long radio show for their broadcast programming.

I felt very enthusiastic to create a radio show that highlighted not just my voice, but the voices of many women in my life whom I respect and have helped me grow as a person.

I sent out a call and had the respondents make a voice recording for me. This recording would answer a few simple questions on what ‘living creatively’ meant or looked like to them.

This piece was a fun challenge. Especially given the fact that each voice recording submission was recorded in a different way on different devices. My goal was to do some pretty intense audio clean up with the aim of getting it all to sit together in one piece.

My voice was the guide and I included music, which I had recorded, to help set the tone throughout the show.

This was the fastest timeline (THREE DAYS!) that I’ve ever worked on for a project of this magnitude.

I am very pleased with the results. And I learned a lot about structuring podcast-type episodes. and scripting.
